Welcome to my folio page! I love to paint with traditional watercolor to create colorful images for educational and children's publishing. I'm from a rural town in Indiana, USA. I grew up loving animals, riding horses, exploring the woods and drawing most of the time.
I'm a graduate of Indiana State University with a BA in Communication Arts. I've spent part of my career as a graphic designer and art director who could do the illustrations too. I've worked in corporate marketing for Simon Malls, Fischer-Price and OpenNetwork Technologies.
Since 2004 I've had the opportunity to devote my career to full time illustration, working in my home studio in Florida. I live with my husband Pete, my son Patrick and my boisterous Boxer pups Haley and Beck.
