Dara Goldman
Dara Goldman has been drawing aand painting since she was a child. She grew up in Brookline, Massachusettes where she went to art school every Saturday at the Boston Museum of Fine Arts, then went on to study art and art history at Skidmore College in New York and Syracuse University in London.
Dara has been writing and illustrating for children for the past 20 years. She also creates illustrations for magazines, newspapers, paper products, and gift items. Her latest adventure has been to learn animation at the Boston Institute of Art and has worked as a designer animator for animation studios in the Boston area.
Dara has a program which she brings to schools to show children how she writes and illustrates children's books.
She lives with her family in a sleepy New England town outside of Boston.
