This piece of work was an illustration for a story about a young flower seller in London who receives a magical coin which transforms her life. I gave her an old patchwork coat to wear which reflects the colours of the flowers she is selling. Behind her on the wall are posted billboards advertising theatrical performances in London's theatreland.
