Image of Babe the Sheep Pig with his sheep mother Ma, who understands him to be more gentle and loving than the biting dogs.
illustrator - portfolio - Adams, Hazel - The Elephant's Child-Gouache and ink illustration of the baby Elephant Child with his "bulgy nose as big as a boot", from Rudyard Kipling's 'Just So Stories' of How the Elephant got his Trunk. I used a bright warm background, with matt browns too create a dusty effect of the elephant playing in the dried out mud.
illustrator - portfolio - Adams, Hazel - King Louis and his Palace-Louis in front of his palace. I made several layers to create this image, using inks, watercolours, tracing paper, sugar paper and masking fuid.
illustrator - portfolio - Adams, Hazel - Owl-Watercolours. From a study of birds of prey taken at the Enchanted Forest in Tonbridge Kent.
