“MUM! I think the cow is eating a snake!” There is nothing like the misdemeanors of the inhabitants of a farm to give a lifetime of imagery to draw on.
Growing up in Central Queensland childhood was steeped full of kooky animals and characters. Then in juxtaposition moving to Sydney 2000kms away to study art at the University of Sydney; contrasts and comparisons still strike me and provide the creative mind with hours of amusement and plenty to illustrate.
The romantic notion of being an illustrator has still not worn off and I don’t expect it to anytime soon, with 6 published works this year it has been a busy couple of months and I can’t wait for more to come!
