Jesse Kuhn
Jesse is a freelance illustrator and graphic designer. His experience ranges
from branding, character development, packaging, book design, pre-press
file prep, and production design. Jesse graduated from Missouri State
University with a Bachelors of Fine Arts degree in Illustration and Graphic
Design and a minor in Advertising. Having freelanced for several years, he
has been recognized and honored through several appearances in illustration
and design annuals including Society of Illustrators, Applied Arts, and CMYK
magazine. He is constantly studying visual culture, and draws inspiration
from books, magazines, galleries, films, and travel.
Jesse also helped develop the educational children's book series; The
Quirkles. The Quirkles stories teach or reinforce phonetic sounds that serve
as the building blocks for reading, while also making science—earth,
physical, and life—fun to learn. The Quirkles offer a fresh new way to
integrate literacy and science at school or at home.
