background and studies in fashion and textile design in Japan,
and also by my move to France, where I became enamored with
children’s books. My work is painted with a number of coats of
papers making use of a Japanese paper mosaic technique. I
compose my pictures much like weaving with papers, clothes or
antique objects. Using these techniques allows full expression of
my art.
