Julia Oliver
I studied art at Loughbrough College of Art and Design in the eighties. I have worked in the art industry ever since. I love to draw and create characters for books, bringing them to life as I do so. I often find myself pulling funny expressions when trying to draw them angry, sad or quizzical. I some times think that the expressions stick and my characters do actually look a bit like me, not in looks exactly but something much more subtle.
