Michael Lauritano
Michael Lauritano grew up constantly in the shadow of questions such as: What
if? Why? and Why not? These ponderings lead him to the Rhode Island School of
Design, where he graduated with honors and a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree in
Illustration.
Michael finds inspiration in his travels across the world and across the street.
He is interested in images that suggest stories that are quiet, humorous, dark,
and bizarre. For the time being, he is settled in a particularly sunny spot
amongst the rooftops of Cambridge, Massachusetts. There, he dreams of one
day publishing all of the books he's written in his head.
