Kristin Varner
Kristin Varner grew up in the Rocky Mountains of Salt Lake City, Utah. As a youngster she liked to doodle and ride her big wheel. In the 2nd grade as a birthday salute, her class proclaimed her to be "a good artist", and that's when her career really took off.
Since graduating from Rhode Island School of Design in 1995, she's been doing whimsical illustration for Children's Publications such as, Harcourt, Highlights Magazine, Houghton Mifflin, MacMillan/McGraw-Hill, Pearson Education, Scholastic and many more.
