Molly Idle
Molly Idle has been drawing ever since she could wield a pencil, at the tender age of 18 months, (though her professional career began slightly later).
Upon her graduation from Arizona State University, with a BFA in Drawing, Molly accepted an offer to work for DreamWorks Feature Animation Studio as a final line animator.
After five years with DreamWorks, she lept with gusto into the world of children's publishing- relishing her new role as a writer and illustrator!
Molly now lives in Arizona with her brilliant husband, two wonderfully mischievous sons, and three snuggly cats. When not making mischief with her boys or watching old black and white movies, she can be found at her desk scribbling away, (cat in lap), creating profoundly whimsical illustrations for children, a line of Idle Illustration greeting cards and a plethora of other enticing projects!
