Geri Berger Haines
Ever since she can remember, Geri was drawing pictures. A native to Connecticut, she attended Paier College of Art where she majored in illustration. In keeping up with the times, she furthered her studies in graphic design and illustration.
For the past 23 years, she has done freelance artwork for book and magazine publishers, advertising for clients including UCONN, card companies, along with designing T-shirts and painting murals. In addition to this, she raised her daughter and son, (along with a sweet cat and dog), with her husband in their home in Northeastern Connecticut.
She is a member of The Society of Children's Book Writers and Illustrators. Her clients include St. Paul Books and Media, Bayard Publications, S&S Arts and Crafts, Paulist Press and others. Her book, The Little Lost Lamb has been a Bestseller for years.
In addition to illustration, Geri loves ceramics and printmaking.
Geri works in watercolor, gouache, acrylic, ink, markers, pencil, charcoal, colored pencil, along with other mixed media. She also does work in Corel Painter, Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.
