Edna Cabcabin Moran is an author/illustrator based in the SF bay area. Her work has appeared on magazines, books and other media.
Edna's book, THE SLEEPING GIANT, A Tale from Kaua'i, was awarded the 2007 Ka Palapala Po'okela Honorable Mention for Excellence in Children's Hawaiian Culture. Other awards include: Writer's Digest Honorable Mention in 2006 for Rhyming Poetry; The Northern CA Gold Addy and Society of Illustrators of Los Angeles illustration merit. Edna is a member of the Society of Children's Book Writers and Illustrators and participant at the Chautauqua 2005 Highlights Children's Writer conference.

Outside her studio, Edna enjoys dancing hula and traveling with her family.
