I graduated from Manchester Metropolitan University in 1999 with a BA(Hons)
in Illustration and an MA in Communication Design, and have been working
as an illustrator ever since under the representation of The Organisation.
My work is colourful and lively with broad appeal and I like to add decorative
elements or a mood of drama where appropriate. Over the years I have
worked for a wide range of clients including:
Chronicle Books, Egmont Children's Books, Faber & Faber, Weidenfeld &
Nicolson, Orion Children's Books, Random House, Hodder Headline, Penguin,
Macmillan, Time Warner Books, Duncan Baird Publishers, Transworld
Publishers, Oxford University Press, Godsfield Press, Lion Publishing,
HarperCollins, BBC, CAFOD, Christian Aid and many others.
Recently I have had the opportunity to work on a couple of ongoing series of
junior novels, providing covers and interior illustrations - Lauren St John's
"The White Giraffe", "Dolphin Song" and the forthcoming "The Last Leopard"
are published in the UK by Orion and in the US by Dial Press, and David Alric's
"The Promised One" and the forthcoming "The Valley of the Ancients" are
published by Faber & Faber.
I live in Cheshire, England.
