Doron Ben-Ami
Doron Ben-Ami has been illustrating since 1979.
The primary commitment in his work is to capture Relationship--
...the moments that define what people mean to each other, what they
contribute to each other, even how they irritate each other!
His illustrations can be found on and in books from many of the major
publishers, including Harper Collins, Simon & Schuster, Little Brown,
Scholastic, Disney Publishing, and Random House. He has also lent his skills
to the marketing efforts of Johnson and Johnson, Fizer, Singulair, Robitussin,
Canfield Soda, The Calgary Stampede, and many other commercial concerns.
Doron's interest in human relationship extends readily to his clients! He is
easy to work with, and always there to make sure that communication is
flowing clearly in both directions. His primary concern is that the client's
needs are met, and that his skills are being fully utilized to convey the client's
message.
Doron earned his Bachelor of Fine Art degree at Brooklyn College in 1977,
after which he served an apprenticeship with renowned figurative painter
Phillip Pearlstein.
He is also a musician, playing in several bands, and producing and marketing
original music from his home studio.
He resides in Brookfield CT with his wife, son and daughter.
