Carisa Swenson
Working in her preferred medium of pen, watercolor and gouache, Carisa draws
inspiration from nature, animals and mythological tales to create whimsical and
colorful illustrations.
After originally breaking into the illustration field with numerous fantasy-
themed collectible card game commissions, Carisa is now turning her attention
to the world of children’s books, to which her style lends itself well. Current
clients include publishing houses such as McGraw-Hill and Scholastic Inc.
