Andrés Martínez Ricci was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina in 1969.__In 1992 he
graduated as a graphic designer from Buenos Aires University. At the same
time,
he studied drawing with well-known Argentinian artists like Alberto Salinas,
Jorge De los Ríos and Claudio Aboy.
In 1993 he started his professional career illustrating in the local Clarín
newspaper, and Noticias magazine.
Since then, his drawings have appeared in many different graphic media as well
as illustrating books. He has worked in advertising as an illustrator and creative
consultant. From 2002 on, he has contributed to animation productions for
Cartoon Network and Disney.
