I still remember being a little girl and looking with such amazement and
wonder at the images in picture books. I found them to be so magical and
could spend hours, literally, looking at them..
Being a freelance children's book illustrator is the best and most rewarding
job! I enjoy creating sweet, innocent and cute characters specially animals
and kids.
My style has been described as soft and expressive. Mainly I work with
watercolors and then use the computer for final details. It takes me around
2-3 months to illustrate a children's book. After is done I can deliver the art
very quickly by uploading it on my FTP site or the publisher's.
I work in my home studio in Caracas, Venezuela where I live with my
wonderful husband, my amazing two kids and a house full of pets. :o)
