McNevin Hayes
McNevin Hayes is an illustrator of children's books, the most recent being Stone Pizza by Susan K. Mitchell, published by The RGU Group.
He is the poster artist for Songs of Protest, a series of shows in Los Angeles; the posters are featured on Neil Young's Living With War Today website. Other editorial clients include magazines Request, Bikini, and Stress. He has done product packaging and identity, residential and commercial murals, and storyboards for commercials and films.
His work has also been featured in several galleries, including Delirium Tremens in Echo Park, CA, and the D. A. Center for the Arts in Pomona, CA. He has taught at the Art Institute of Los Angeles, Platt College, and the Entertainment Art Academy in Pasadena, CA. He has been a special studio instructor at the Art Center College of Design, of which he is a graduate. He is currently teaching at the Memorial Art Gallery in Rochester, NY.
He resides in upstate NY with his wife Debra and son Nathan.
