Now 29, I left my career as a magazine editor and journalist some 18 months ago to concentrate on my growing freelance career as a cartoonist and illustrator. I have won various awards and competitions for my work and am published in UK magazines and newspapers (including teacher/pupil magazines aimed at children). Many projects have involved multiple illustrations featuring regular characters -- which has given me a taste and desire for expanding to the versatile and narrative medium of children's books.
