Karen Donnelly
I have almost 20 years experience in publishing, with occasional forays into
editorial, point of sale and packaging projects.
I specialise in well drawn and humourous people and settings, and can work on
very contemporary subjects, or provide well researched historical material. I
enjoy reading manuscripts and can usually get a good handle on the characters
and mood of the text.
I illustrated Jean Ure's books for HarperCollins for 8 years, and worked on
Magdalen Nabb's very popular Josie Smith series
over an even longer period and enjoyed a great working relationship with both
authors.
I work traditionally with pen and ink and watercolour, and provide roughs and
finished artwork digitally.
